I had the pleasure to be part of the beauty team at the first Cotton 24hrs fashion show in Lincoln rd, Miami. Yes, baby you heard it right, 24hrs!
The show stylists did an amazing job working with clothes from several designer houses such as Anthropology, Ernest sewn, William Rast, The gap, 7 for all mankind to name a few. The pace was insane, 1440 wearable and fashionable looks went down the runway every minute. With a whopping 24 hair and makeup changes, the looks went from Weekend bash to show stopper, modern glam and my favorite urban chic. I’ve worked fashion shows before but never in one that went for 24hrs non stop, when my 8hrs shift was over I definitely was a bit tired but nothing that good sushi and drinks with friends couldn’t cure, after all it was Miami, fashion and makeup, what else a girl could ask for?
